| Getting Clone High back |
[17 Jun 2011|11:12pm] |
Me again.
So, I've been watching pretty much everybody involved with Clone High via Twitter and it seems like if we can just get MTV to either fund it or at least give up the rights to somebody who's willing that everybody would be on board. So post on their community boards, tweet them, do whatever it takes. I know you guys want it too. At least a movie.
It's kind of funny, the show's been off the air for over 8 years and a lot of the people involved are still talking about it. Bill Lawrence brings up the show on a regular basis. (Even more so recently because of the Vancouver riots. Did you see the pool? They flipped the bitch!) And now Michael McDonald (Gandhi) posted and said he wanted to bring back Clone High.
I know Phil and Chris have mentioned it before. Although not sure how much time 21 Jump Street and the Lego movie are going to take.
I'd honestly take a table read at this point just so I can have a decent ending.

| Soundtrack: help required |
[01 Mar 2011|11:50am] |
Hello everyone,
we are an Austrian indie band having one of our old songs featured in a Clone High episode. As we couldn't find a complete list of tracks on the web I turn to you guys here - maybe someone can point us to the scene or episode the song was used in...
Here's a link to the full song... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=37IUIXYYc58
Any inputs are appreciated!
Many thanks in advance & Cheers from Vienna,
Nick

| Is it wrong that I find this funny? |
[27 Aug 2010|03:51pm] |
So, as I am doing research for potential historical figures to make an appearance in my [eventual] animated Clone High fan-episode, I came across Ada Lovelace's bio on wikipedia. I've read about her before, and I feel she is a strong female character with great information to which can be applied in the cartoon. I just wanted to pass along that the following sentence makes me giggle.
"[Ada] Lovelace was often ill, dating from her early childhood."
I'm of course finding it humerus as I am reading that improperly, as if she was ill because she was dating in her early childhood years.
Nasty.

| icons → two & seeking. |
[17 Jun 2010|01:38pm] |
just two icons from this batch.
It was a few years ago that I found some Clone High icons that were just quotes over the series background (mod/abstract red televisions/square shapes). I know it's a longshot but would anyone have an idea where to find them again? If it sounds at all familiar to you, I'd really appreciate the help! Thanks!

| Hey dead community! Have a Bronte Sisters ad! |
[03 May 2010|08:13pm] |
Chris just uploaded this and it's hands down one of the funniest things I've ever seen. I laughed so hard. It needs to be spread. There are so many jokes that they re-used in Clone High too. Like the pretending to be men with super-disguise mustaches.
Man, now I want a season 2 starring the Bronte Sisters. ( Bronte Action Here )
Also, as a side note. Did anybody save or remember the information from the yearbook? You know, the one that got them into the whole mess in the first place?

I always change the radio station when "You Belong to Me" by Taylor Swift comes on, but you HAVE to admit- it's totally Joan's song! Just thought I'd point that out. Someone should make a music video...

wow, it took me this long to find a Clone High lj community?
needless to say, I'm a fan. I don't have much to contribute but I did make some Scudworth icons some time ago, as he's by far my favorite character. I'll just, ah, leave them here then.

| Chris and Phil on The Late Late Show on CBS tonight |
[24 Sep 2009|05:08pm] |
Hey everyone, Chris and Phil are going to be on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson tonight at 12:35am ET/PT. I don't think they'll end up talking about Clone High. But their interviews are usually entertaining anyways. As is Craig Ferguson.

| How many variations of this video have I posted? |
[16 Sep 2009|11:40pm] |
Anytime I see anything with these two I drop it off here. Yeah I know. We've heard the story. A hundred times. But here you go anyways. And also, it appears that Phil is now on Twitter. So if you have a Twitter account and want to follow him you can do that. He's mostly just promoting Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs.

Edit: Chris has a Twitter account too. His isn't as active yet though. http://twitter.com/ChrizMillr

Not really news but it's not like much else is going on. If this stretches out your page, let me know and I'll put it under a cut. I'm just rather lazy right now. Also, this isn't my video. If I was there I'd have demanded a more conclusive ending.

| For the fun of it |
[06 May 2009|01:08am] |
Hope nobody minds me posting this, but I got an email from CafePress that they've added new items to their available products to sell. One of the things they added was the new water bottle that doesn't have all those carcinogens within the plastic. So I played around with a design for an X-STREAM BLU snack bottle.

Should you care or if you want to get anything, remember that I don't put any additional money on top of what CafePress charges for their labor.

| Jolly Snowflake Day everyone! |
[26 Jan 2009|05:00pm] |
I definitely used this wonderful all-inclusive holiday of Snowflake Day to rewatch all of the Clone High episodes and wouldn't you know it, the ending still pisses me off. I would really like to know of another good cartoon that could possibly have a "worse" cliffhanger. I don't think there is.
Lets talk about other one season shows...
For example, "Mission Hill" had only one season, with 5 more episodes written. The shows last episode was not a cliffhanger. Its a show about peoples lives and their random occurances. There were over-arching storylines, but none while watching felt the need to be given closure.
"Undergrads" definitely has a cliffhanger, inwhich you don't know of where the main characters lives will turn to next. Pete Williams has the whole story in his head but refuses to spill incase he does eventually get picked up again... Yeah right. I'd love it, but I know better.
"Gary and Mike" and "Stroker and Hoop" both leave you with a situation of whether or not the main characters get out of the mess they're in, not to mention simply live through the ordeal.
And for only a one-episode Korgath the Barbarian, jeez, I really want to know and see more. Too bad no one is telling what went wrong wtih that production deal. And for the crap [adult swim] produces nowadays, I have no idea why they didn't go with it, unless it was too good.
"Invasion America", (anyone remember that one?) that was another good, one season show. Luckily you can just read the books to find out what happens next.
"3 South", wow, what a funny show, (my friend hates it).
Any other cartoons I missed, or maybe don't know about? I'd love to gab about "Firefly", but I won't. Unless they make an animated series...
